2 Layouts for this week-end. 1st one Dimo & Me this is for the scrapjack challenge on Mystical Scrapbooking.

and the 2nd Layout is My Mum & Dads Wedding Photos. This layout is for Scrap Savvy's scrapjack.

That makes 14 Layouts so far for this year, Not bad considering my goal was to do at least 50 for the year, although i was suppose to be using more of my old photos up.

Saturday/Sunday

How am i going to spend my week-end is the next Blog prompt on mystical scrapbooking and as you can see i was playing with my new camera. And on Sunday i will be scrappin.

Not a bad way to spend my saturday, Jason, Ben (friends ), my sister Kim and her 2 girls Rachael & Trinity and me went up to Mt Cootha for a bush walk. We then went into botanical gardens where they had a orchard show on. Got some great photos, then walked thru the gardens. All Day Card Making - these are the cards i made today at the stampin ups all day cards. They are the best bunch of ladies. Was $35 all the packs are supplied to make the cards, lunch and desert. They even have little shop to buy craft stuff.
They are having another one New catalogue book launch on Fri night 4th April 7pm-10pm at Hemmant Community Hall ( brisbane ) cost $25 if any one is interested you can email Dee scrappindee@cakesbydee.com.au

Scrapbooking? How do you motivate yourself and still enjoy the process??


This is the prompt for the new blog challenge at Mystical Scrapbooking. Each week we will be given a different prompt to blog about. and we also go in the draw to win a gift voucher from the store. So the first topic is
Srapbooking- how do you motivate yourself and still enjoy the process.

I guess for me its about the finished product, i think you have to enjoy what your doing and getting good feedback from your work is encouraging aswell. I love doing sketch challenges i find there a great motivator. I also love making cards and getting the lovely comments back from people i give them too. I think its also great if you have family or close friends doing scrapbooking aswell. I'm lucky i have my sister Kim and my stepdaughter Renee who both scrapbook, so its always good to talk to them about things.
Scrapbooking is all about the photo and if that photo is of someone or something you love or care about then you do enjoy scrapping it.

Wow 4 in one week-end

Wow i managed to get 4 layouts done this weekend .

On Scrapbook Savvy they have some really good challenges

this month one of which Renee Dowling is doing is a

22 pge BOM -book of me. this is my 1st page

My 2nd layout is a scetch from Forever always. I loved doing this one, It also gave me a good chance to advertise the fact that i am raising funds for the variety club. As i am an entrant in this Oct variety Bash and cant wait.

3rd layout is a scetch for Mystical Scrapbooks the background paper is Paintables by primamarketing.not that you can see but i cut around the butterfly and flowers to give them abit of a lift.

And last is the Ad challenge on Scrapbook Savvy.
