Celebrating MUM turn 60

Mums 60 Birthday party was a great night of friends and family to help her celebrate. My sister Jane did all the cooking and preparing of food, and it was all lovely. Kim and I played waitresses.

We surprised her with this beautiful cake that we had made in shape of a bed with quilt as mum is a sewer and makes lots of quilts. This year she has promised to make me one with cockatoos all over it. Hope you had a great night mum.Happy Birthday..

Here are some shots of my partner Dimo playing with one of his toy savage - remote cars. Our son-in-law Simon built the ramp it was great watching them fly of it. a few very ruff landing though.

I was playing with my new camera, learning to zoom and focus properly.( still got alot to learn)

Wow my new SLR Canon 400D Camera.
My Grandfather loved taking photos and if he was alive today he would be in his glory, unfortunately he past away before digital came out. So now with my new camera i will take lots of photos for him.

So heres to taking lots of phots grandad..........

WOW I WON

WOW i just got the news letter from Forever Always and was happy to see i won the dec sketch, a $25 voucher Thank you FA !!!!!!!

One of my goals this year is to do more layouts with old photo's and what better way to start with me being pregnant, my son Christopher just had his 18th.

This layout is for the scenic route comp and of corse the papers and die cut arrows are from scenic route.

I clould sit here for hours WATCHING THE SWANS and when i was in thetford england i did just that. There was a little cafe where we got coffee and cake and sat there and watched them.

just like to say a BIG HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my cousin Emily who lives in wales in England.

Last day of the year

New Years Eve at my sister "Janes" place near southbank in brisbane. great view of the city and the fireworks. Plus Cherie with baby Ebony in hospital on the 31st dec. Last day of the year..............................

New Beginings

Well hello and welcome to my blog...

everyone seems to have blogs these days and i think its a great way of keeping a jornal so here goes...



This is me on christmas day, i am not keen on having my photo taken i like to be the one taking the photos.



And the newest addition to our family is my stepdaughter Cherie 's first child

"Ebony"

Born on the 28th Dec weighing only 2.7kg

so tiny.

then in the middle of the night we were woken with a crashing sound when the mango tree near our bedroom window decided to come crashing down.

so the new year starts.
