I guess i can put these up now that they have announced the top 50 which off course i didn't make but my stepdaughter Renee Dowling did and i am so happy for her i hope she becomes a Master, she dose great work and very much deserves it.

No time for Scrappin

Well where is the time going i have done hardly any scrapping in the last few months. But here is my reason- Variety Club of Qld This was our Virgin Bash Test Weekend.

And we had a fantastic time it was great. We have 3 weeks to go and we are so excited.

Since we started this in January ( seems so long ago) we have raised over $7000 for the Children with special needs and i have enjoyed every minute of it.

Book of me challenge#13 was music - Taken in london of course its the famous crossing on abbey rd. My Aunt Gill and i walked there from her house it was great and we got to sign the wall.

These photos were taken down the park from my mums house on mothersday. We were having fun sliding down the hill.

Book of me #9 -was what i miss about summer. I guess i miss daylight- This is me on a beach in Brighton, England at 8 oclock at night. You dont get that here.

Book of me #11- Garden I hate gardening so i dont have one. My back yard is for my dogs. So i just took a few photos of things in my garden and the tree was in my nans garden.

Well i got a few things done over the weekend. I really wanted to finish this layout of my Son and his girlfriend. Its teneals 16th Birthday today so i made this layout for her.

And its my Aunt Janets birthday tomorrow so Happy Birthday to Janet.
It was also my partners birthday the otherday, gee July is a busy month.

My 2 latest layouts for the book of me My favourite animal and grandparents. There is a caravan park down the goldcoast at ashmore where they have these beautifull Macaws in big averies, you can have your photo taken with them on a weekday so one day i will go back and hold them. They would have to be the most beautiful Bird. I would love to have one as a pet.

The Life of Connie Burgess. My Dads mother. I didn't know my grandmother very well as she lived in England and only came out here once when i was young. So writing a book on her was very hard. I wrote a few things that i knew about her, so i went to my father with some questions who wasnt much help. So i contacted my Aunt Gill who is helping me out. So when i get all that information i can finish my book.

This time last year i was in England and the weather was stunning.
As i was walking thru Regents park with my Aunt Gill and her grand kids Alex and Owen I came across the beautiful flower.

My double layout is
A thousand miles away. I stayed with my 3rd cousin Michael for a week, he lives in Southport. With his daughter Sammy and son James.

We also visited my other 3rd cousin William and his wife Dianne and daughter Abbey.

I have only seen them twice 2007 and 2004. I am so glad of the internet that we can keep in touch.

Look forward to maybe one day them coming here.

And I also went to Wales to spend Easter with my cousin Emily and her husband Dan and 2 daughters Kani & Eria. Gill and Nick drove me there. This is in Em's back yard, Dan had just finished filling the swimming pool. Bit cold for me though.

Last year a group of my friends went over to Straddie for a week-end without the boys. We all loaded up in my van ( which seats 8 people) and headed over there. We had a great time. Should organize another one real soon i think.

On Sat night we as in the Courierkittens were at Mt Gravatt Soccer Club cooking up a Sausage Sizzle. To help reach our goal of raising $7000 to enter this Oct Variety Bash. We are now half way there.

This is my layout for Book Of Me #4 on scrap savvy, It was a chilhood memory and mine was when my nan and grandad use to came over from london to stay with us. And when my grandad pased away my nan came over on her own she got to meet my son. Unfortunately she has now passed away but she will always be my favorite childhood memory.

And this was Sarahs challenge from scrap savvy, a layout using an clear overlay. I have used a piece of 12 x 12 perspecs and creative imagination paper and expoxy stickers. I could decide whether i like it with or without the photo.
